CLIENT WORK

How we have helped businesses move forward.

From evaluating a manufacturing investment to shaping a new market and aligning public-private partners, these cases show how TAPiO connects commercial judgement with practical execution in Malaysia.

Selected client work

International expansion rarely depends on one issue alone. These cases show how TAPiO works across commercial strategy, regulation, institutional engagement and local implementation to turn international opportunities into practical outcomes in Malaysia.

Client identities and commercially sensitive details are withheld where required. Each case distinguishes TAPiO’s contribution from the decisions and achievements of clients, partners and public authorities.

INVESTMENT STRATEGY & LOCALISATION

Turning investment interest into a competitive Malaysia localisation programme

An international manufacturer needed more than a market assessment. TAPiO supported the journey from commercial feasibility and regional strategy through local-partner development and public-sector facilitation to an approved programme for market entry and localisation. The engagement connected investor competitiveness with commitments to investment, local capabilities and exports.

MARKET & ECOSYSTEM DEVELOPMENT

Catalysing a new industry ecosystem in Malaysia

Entering Malaysia’s emerging recreational-vehicle market required more than identifying customers. TAPiO helped connect international industry with regulatory, investment and infrastructure stakeholders, while mapping the wider economic ecosystem. The work supported a clearer market-entry pathway, and TAPiO’s ecosystem analysis was subsequently reproduced in official RV park planning guidance.

PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS & TECHNOLOGY TRANSFORMATION

Building a lasting public-private platform for industrial transformation

TAPiO helped connect an emerging industrial technology agenda with Malaysian business needs and public-sector priorities. An international delegation and three-workshop programme created the basis for deeper institutional cooperation. TAPiO then helped bridge organisations, expectations and cultures as the engagement developed into a longer-term public-private platform for technology transfer and capability building.

  • 600+ participants across three workshops
  • A longer-term institutional capability platform
